Disciplesfellowship Intl' Outreach and Prison Ministries

Disciples Fellowship International Outreach and Prison Ministries was established in 1981 by Carolyn M. Williams. We are a fellowship of volunteers from various backgrounds,church denominations, races and cultures, who believe in, adhere to and teach the Holy Bible and the doctrine of Jesus Christ. We are a sexually and morally pure ministry that operates with integrity and sincerity in advancing the Kingdom of God.

We present the gospel through teaching, preaching, singing, music, dramas, skits, etc. We network with various Christian volunteers to meet the needs of incarcerated and paroled prison inmates. We conduct annual prison ministry conferences, focusing on former inmates who have made a "positive" change in their lives. The conferences give them a platform to come back and share their Christian faith and talents. We disciple offenders in their Christian faith and help to launch them into their unique ministries. We oversee volunteers in other states and countries.

Our quarterly newsletter, The Jailhouse "Rock" is available free of charge to inmates who request it.

We minister in federal and state prisons in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky. Our goal is to minister in prisons globally. Our ministy reaches out to other states and countries through follow up ministry, newsletters, email, etc.We are planning future television coverage in the states of West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina. We have media coverage on the "Thine Kingdom Come" television station in South Africa, which covers Africa and almost the whole of Europe.

Our vision and long term goal is to provide a Christian Transition Home and re-entry program for paroled inmates. We also would like to provide a Christian Home for prisoners children.
